Thriller
Well written court drama, kept me guessing throughout. Recommend this author and her series of "WITNESS" books unbeatable.
Hated it
It dragged on and a bunch of stuff was opened up, but never closed. I had to fight really hard to finish this. No wonder it's free.
Hostile witness
I wanted to like this book. I really did. It had all of the right ingredients, but in the end the whole experience of reading it wasn't enjoyable. Most of the characters were unlikable or poorly developed, and I found myself not wanting to get to know them better as the book wore on. The plot was promising and roots in a good idea but in the end all it really delivered was an unsatisfying read with frustrating dialogue and a "Thank goodness that's over!" finish.
