Not every missing person is meant to be found…
When troubled nurse Alina vanishes without a trace, everyone assumes she ran away from her abusive husband. But when disgraced ex-teacher Emily Swanson moves into the couple’s former home, she discovers that Alina’s disappearance is anything but straightforward.
Desperate for a fresh start, Emily is determined to leave her own troubled past behind. But when she learns about the missing nurse, she sees a chance for redemption. Solving the mystery could help right her own wrongs.
But Alina had a dark secret—one connected to the hospice where she worked. And the closer Emily gets to uncovering the truth, the closer she gets to a danger far worse than she ever imagined…
Inspired by a shocking true crime, Next to Disappear is the first book in Malcolm Richards' twisty British psychological thriller series.

The title said it All!
Easy reading, kept you interested and would recommend it as summer reading!
Au. 1973 and our mental health and story of resilience.
It was perfectly executed and I love room described scenes I also take meds and have been in mental institutions. I thought at first it was fiction but it was real life inspired and that was refreshing bc I too dealt with hard times in psychiatric wards. I am very well now Ty, This set me at peace..something about the time you described the building Lauren Swanson apartment is always warm in my mind with the syntax you used to describe an image of a place. Bravo..one of my favorites and I’m glad the setting was in London. I am glad she overcame..bc I too overcame…Jerome heart…absolutely restored by the end and the epilogue bc it happened in Au. c 1973

Horror story
Had to find a nice story and then read m. Could only read a few chapters at a time. I want to say a good book but it’s a horrific story. Unbelievable but that it has been a true story in our history.’
