What a rollercoaster
Again a wonderful story!!! I loved it, it was an emotional rollercoaster that's for sure. Way to break all our hearts. I don't know who I wanted more for scarlet, Jax, Kai, or Zorin. Now, I'm left all heartbroken:'( To have Kai accept every part of her. And then she has to make such a hard decision that left everyone heartbroken and in pieces. Still she gets right back up again. I can't go on or I'll end up spoiling it all. But just wow! Can't wait for the next book!!!
Continue to love it!
I'm actually writing this review after my second read. I had to re-read after the authors published the updated version of Court of Nightfall, and I think it was even more amazing than the first time I read it. This is a must read and one of the few book series I'm actually trying to get my husband to read (I have to chose very carefully with him). All of the additions from the first book give you a greater appreciation for the story as a whole. I love these characters. I love the complexity of the plot and the decisions that each person has to make. (MAYBE SPOLIER ALERT???) This book was a heartbreaker for me, but in a way that serves a greater purpose and only adds to the story, so I can live with it.
I cannot wait to see where Daughter of Strife takes us.
