Should you take your BlackBerry on vacation? What is the best way to accept a compliment? Is an e-mail an acceptable means of writing a Thank-You note? While the tenets of gracious behavior never change, the situations a gentleman faces do and have changed significantly in the last ten years. In this revised, updated, and expanded version of the bestselling How to Be a Gentleman, Bridges addresses new issues such as airport security, Bluetooth and BlackBerry usage, and appropriate internet and instant message communication. Still featured are topics ranging from how to receive a compliment to how to act at funerals. Certain to be the must-have guide for the modern gentleman, this revised edition will echo the success of its predecessor.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Bridges, coauthor of the bestselling GentleManners series, provides a revised list of tips on how to be effortlessly polite and well mannered in a modern world. This revised edition features new advice on subjects as diverse as instant message communications and proper behavior at a funeral. Some tips are entirely practical, while others strain credulity and skirt the precipice of irony, e.g., "As he grows older, a gentleman invests in a battery-operated hair trimmer so that he does not have to subject himself to the pain of plucking his nose hairs, much less his ear hairs, by means of a pair of tweezers." Kirby Heyborne's narration is clear, well paced, and contains an appropriate degree of authority and assurance. And it's a credit to his skill that Heyborne is able to infuse what amounts to a lengthy list of advice with the vocal variety requisite to maintain listener interest. A Thomas Nelson hardcover.

Please & Thank You
This was a good book, a little too much "A gentleman always" etc... Which became a bit annoying but there was some good tips on what should be a basic understanding and common place are all too often, not.
Buy the book read it a couple of time and put it into practice.
Goon book
Learned a lot on how to be a better gentleman
Love the book
But one error I noticed immediately, in the contents it says "dinne" instead of "dinner" for chapter 3. Otherwise a phenomenal book that all men should read.
