Decent short book. Simple storyline with simple ending.
Wow, so good
A little mystery, a little spice, a lot of fun.
Two people who already kissed four years ago then separated by war. Luke has lived through horrors he can hardly deal with. Cecily has grown into a wonderful, strong young lady.
Will they work it out??? I'm not telling.
Well written with great characters and some humor thrown in the mix. If only every authors' first books were this good.
I've read this before. I wasn't sure if I wrote a review, but it was totally worth reading again. I'd forgotten how great the dialogue was.
I had read three stinkers in a row with grammar mistakes, childish dialogue and jerky plots. They were so bad that I couldn't finish so I wanted an author I could trust and I wasn't disappointed.
You can't go wrong with any of Tessa Dare's books, but castles ever after is my favorite series and there is a preview of her latest work at the end of this one.
Highly recommend.
