Fun trip down memory lane!
Very enjoyable book, especially for us eighties girls! I was 12 in 1987, same as Jenna, so I really related! Great attention to detail--I actually enjoyed the cultural differences the author points out! Lightweight, easy, but satisfying read. I definitely recommend this book!
Who doesn’t love a time travel story
And this is a great one in modern times. Traveling back to 1987 in all its glory an MTV (like) employee who has been in teeny blooper love with a dead rock star since before puberty finds herself in her aunts body as the assistant to this same rock star. She knows that he dies at a particular day and time, and sets out to learn who wants him dead, but her rock star lover is sure she is a crazy nutcase. Yet, he can’t get her bout of his mind despite knowing that everything she says simply makes no sense.... he has known his band mates for years, they are brothers. Read this book to enjoy the trip through 1987 and this jaunty little love story that will put a smile on your face.
Boring
Found myself skipping huge chunks of this book. Too much information about how New York has changed in 25 years. What city hasn't changed significantly in 25 years?!
