Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options, Inc. has released his book i Matter-So Does Your Cause-Starting a Nonprofit. Stack founded Community Options in 1989 around his kitchen table in Bordentown, New Jersey and has grown the organization to an international treasure that works selflessly every day to support people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. 


Stack has worked in the nonprofit and government fields for the last three decades. Over the past 26 years, he has created one of the largest nonprofits in the human services disabilities field. His knowledge as an entrepreneur, manager and successful businessman has earned him countless awards and recognition from government and corporate leaders. Stack is an expert in nonprofit development, management and fundraising. 


In his book, Stack takes you on his journey of starting every facet of a nonprofit organization and all the trials, tribulations and joys that comes with it. He exquisitely breaks down each function of a nonprofit organization and lays the foundation of what you will need to have and know to be successful in starting your own organization. The book parallels the structure of running your nonprofit like a corporate business, which is what Stack has done with Community Options and is one of the many reasons the organization has been so successful.
