Alright
Personally the writer has a beautiful writing style that pulled me in. Though I found the scenes getting a bit drawn out and boring. I feel the story was either drawn out in some parts and completely rushed in others. There wasn’t much of a sweet spot for me. However, I did feel intrigued with how mysterious the Mortale character felt. I also loved the building romance. Then bam.. the book ends. Personally not my favorite read.. though I would have loved if there was at least another 100 pages so I could actually understand the plot and get a better feel for the romance between Mortale and Leila.
