Hayder, one of the rising stars of British crime fiction, teaches at a university in Bath and has worked as a hostess in a Tokyo nightclub. Gripping and gut-wrenching…
This was an absolute wonder to read. I was hooked almost instantly by the design and detail setting up the main characters. I cried and was really shocked but felt a deep sense of relief near the end. Maybe there is closure but then again their lives went on. 10/10
