The Beautiful brown she cat padded toward Goldleaf with a delighted grin on her muzzle.
“Hello, my name is Minty.” She purred.
“I’m Goldleaf.” Goldleaf muttered awkwardly. She had never meet a cat outside of Thunderclan or the rouge barn before.
Clayfur laughed which made minty shoot him a disgusted look which caused him to stop.
“Oh dear, what happened to your muzzle?” Minty exclaimed.
“Clayfur. “ Goldfur said with a little chuckle.
Minty shot him another dirty look.
“Well, she was trespassing! What was I supposed to do?” Clayfur hissed.
Minty rolled her eyes, and licked Goldleafs wound.
“Come, I have just the thing for that scratch.” Minty purred.
Minty lead Goldleaf to the cave.
The cave was dark, and stony.
The ground was moist, and several dirty nests were backed up against the cave wall.
“Are there other cats here?” Goldleaf asked
“Yes, quite a few actually. Why do you ask?” Minty purred.
Clayfur only told her that him and one other cat lived here, He had lied to her before.
She was staring to wonder if he was completely trustworthy.
“No reason “ Goldleaf sighed, as Minty cleaned her wound with wet moss.
Minty grabbed some herbs from behind a large stone, and applied them to Goldleafs scratch. A soothing relief swept over Goldleaf like the waves of a crystal clear stream.
“Thank you” she said with a sigh of relief.
“Of course.” Minty said sweetly
“I can’t wait until you meet my mate Flame eye.” She purred “He is just the sweetest.”
Goldleaf looked at Minty’s belly.
“Oh! Are you pregnant?” She asked
“Yes, for a few moons now.” Minty said pawing at the ground.
“Flame eye should be back from hunting by no— Oh there he is!” Minty shouted.
A tall tom cat with rough ginger fur, black stripes, and blue eyes carrying a bird trotted into the cave.
“Watch out Minty! It’s a intruder!” He hissed, dropping the bird, his back arched.
“Flame! It’s alright, she’s with us” Minty shouted.
“My apologies, I can be a bit- protective around Minty.” Flame eye muttered sheepishly.
“It’s fine, I’m Goldleaf your Flame eye, I presume?” Said Goldleaf.
“Yep, would you like some prey? There’s plenty.” He said dropping the bird in the prey pile.
Goldleaf’s stomach burned with hunger.
She was so caught up in escaping Thunderclan she forgot she hadn’t ate all day.
“Yes, please.” She said as Minty grabbed her a mouse from the pile.
She ate the mouse as quickly as she could. She yawned. She was pretty worn out, and it was dusk. She flopped back onto a pile of straw.
“Mind if a nap here?” She asked sleepily.
“Sure, we don’t mind. It’s Sunpaw’s but he shouldn’t be back by morning.” Said Flame eye with a shrug.
“We’re going to go bath in the stream with Clayfur, have a good rest” Minty purred.
Minty and Flame eye exited the cave, as Goldleaf drifted off to sleep.
“Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as thunderclan.” She thought before she was transported into a world of stars
