The Horsewoman

Being a horse woman, I enjoyed this book immensely. The relationship between the trainers and their protégés was very well developed. I always felt if horses were meant to jump they would have wings. Pegasus being my favorite of all mythology. When the lead character expressed during a jumping compitition at one point she felt as though her horse was flying. guess this book really touched my heart. Very well written and researched. I would suggest this book to anyone horse lover, or not.
I hope there’s a movie in the future.

Good Read. Good Ride

Very much enjoyed this book. I briefly trained in show jumping and have seen enough horse shows that I could envision everything happening on the pages and loved it. I even felt tension and anxious while the riders were in the ring. I’m just curious - if one is not familiar with show jumping would this be as enjoyable a read? The riding is very prominent in the story. Anyway, I’m very glad I picked this book. Thanks
