You Get What You Give
Publisher Description
From insta-lover to insta-enemy. All that, and a bag of chips.
It's just a regular old night in my coastal hometown—the place outsiders call the Hollywood of the East—when an impulsive rendezvous with a handsome stranger not only rocks my world, it turns it upside down.
Because the next day, just as I'm contemplating the possibility of a rerun, the guy turns up like a bad penny to open a casting company in direct competition to mine.
Right. Next. Door.
He may have the backing of a deep-pockets LA family that's been in the movie biz since the pictures were in black and white, but I've got the loyalty of the locals. And just enough Southern charm to destroy him.
He can steal my clients, but you can bet your britches he ain't gonna steal my heart.
Fans of 1990's shows like Dawson's Creek and Friends will love this rivals-to-lovers, new-in-town, one night stand romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Karen Grey.

One night stand FAIL
You know the day after a one night stand, when you realize that you not only have to work in the office next to last nights conquest, but he is actually your biggest competitor. A competitor that you didn’t even know you had. Makes for some infuriating and also awkward moments.
Nate & Vi have this chemistry that can’t be touched…even by the moral enemy status. They’re both casting directors, but they both have very different methods to their profession. When a feud between other characters forces these two to work more and more together, they realize what their true potential is together.
As for the narration, Maxine Mitchell & Jack Calihan are both always a pleasure to listen to. Maxine has a great ability to have so many different voices. Jack has this ability to capture your attention & feel along with his character.
I was sent a free audiobook by Home Cooked Books and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
Great Romance!
This was such a great romance listen! Nate and Violet shared a romance and chemistry that just couldn’t be denied. I love me a great small-town romance and enemies-to-lovers romance are my jam so YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE by Karen Grey was right up my alley! Romantic, sexy, and full of feels. This book did not disappoint.
Narration was performed by Jack Calihan and Maxine Mitchell. The casting was clearly spot on as these two effortlessly bring the story to life. Credit worthy.
Violet and Nate
Their one night stand doesn’t end like they thought. Violet just opened a casting agency and is barely making it. Nate comes from money and is in the same business. Will they put their differences aside and work together for the greater good.
