Halt the critic ,

The ending is so sad… but it is history

Woah. Just woah. I’ve been reading Lois Lowry for about five years now and I love all of her works!
This one is my favorite, despite it being so sad🥺
This is based off of a skeleton found in a bog in Germany in the 50’s and what the possibilities of the stories are behind it. At first, scientists thought it was a young girl, but later they figured out the skeleton was a teenage boy.
Lois Lowry tells both sides of a story, a girl who wants to defy the norm and become a warrior, and a boy who is broken and a genius
Both endings had me in tears and Lois Lowry, once again, tells an amazing story that is captivating and straight up awesome!
