Publisher Description
When Walter Nash is recruited by the FBI to help bring down a global crime network his life is turned completely upside down in this thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci.
Nash is an intelligent man, tough but fair-minded. He has a wife and a daughter and a very high-level position at Sybaritic Investments, where his innate skills and dogged tenacity have carried him to the top of the pyramid in his business career. Despite never going on grand adventures, and always working too many hours, he has a happy and upscale life with his family.
However, following his estranged Vietnam-veteran father’s funeral, Nash is unexpectedly approached by the FBI in the middle of the night. They have an important request: become their inside man to expose an enterprise that is laundering large sums of money through Sybaritic. At the top of this illegal operation is Victoria Steers, an international criminal mastermind that the FBI has been trying to bring down for years.
Nash has little choice but to accept the FBI’s demands and try to bring Steers and her partners to justice. But when Steers discovers that Nash is working with the FBI, she turns the tables on him in a way he never could have contemplated. And that forces Nash to take the ultimate step both to survive and to take his revenge: He must become the exact opposite of who he has always been.
And even that may not be enough.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
An ordinary businessman must turn himself into an action hero to survive after an FBI plan to recruit him goes bad in this breakneck David Baldacci thriller. Nice guy Walter Nash is just an ordinary family man with a high-level finance job at Sybaritic Investments until the FBI recruits him to bring down his money-laundering boss, Victoria Steers. But when Steers realizes his double role and retaliates, threatening everything Nash holds dear, he must transform into a very different kind of crime fighter if he wants to save his family and himself. Author David Baldacci is in his element with Nash, deftly turning the devoted-dad everyman into a tattooed action hero intent not only on survival but also revenge. Piling on unexpected plot pivots throughout this pulse-pounding thriller, he keeps the over-the-top action fast and furious, all the while mining Nash’s past for secrets and motivations that will keep him in the fight. Nash Falls kept us reading way too late into the night.

Nash Falls
Fast moving and suspenseful. Couldn’t put it down! Excited for the sequel!
Kept me engaged.
Good, solid read. Kept me interested throughout even though the time line skipped ahead a couple of times (necessarily I may add). I didn’t expect the ending, but also won’t give it away here. I look forward to the next book with anticipation.
Dissapointed
Because this book has no ending, the reader is left dangling and very upset. The idea of two separate books to be read at disparate times is ridiculous. mr. Baldacchino refusal to draw the various themes together is either due to a lazy writing technique or pursuit of more money in a second book.
