Our identities have been hacked.

Someone plugged into our psychological account and robbed us. We gave them the passwords and they passed off their own expectations as ours. They altered our identity and lowered our spiritual credit score. Here’s how it happened. Each of us has a recording playing in the back of our brains that tells us who we are. At some point a parent or teacher, a coach or a lover pressed play and you heard that you were skinny or dumb, a jock or a jerk, a straight-A student or a class clown. This transcript plays in a continuous loop until you became who they expected you to be.


The book of Ephesians offers us a new transcript and the opportunity to reverse the script in our heads and become the person God has created us to be.
