I never thought there'd be a day where I didn't have my mom and dad by my side, but it happened. Now here I am secretly in love with my best friend, while trying to keep up with a relationship I'm not sure will ever make me truly happy. If I can't have Grayson as anything more than my best friend that's something I will just have to live with. As my relationship with Brett becomes more serious I can't help the feeling that something isn't right. Maybe it's the fact that I'm in love with my best friend instead of my boyfriend? No that can't be it, it must be something else.

Harmen has been my best friend since she moved in next door when we were little. I missed my chance in high school to make her mine and lost any other chances I may have to Brett. There's something I've never liked about the guy, and no it's not that he is currently with the only woman I've ever loved. Okay, well that may be part of it. I know there's something he's hiding and no matter what it takes I am going to figure it out. I've only ever wanted Harmen to be safe and happy in life and that's exactly why I'm going to find out everything he's hiding, no matter the cost.
