A Masterful Conclusion
Everything has been leading up to book 4, the Illuminator Witch, and it was a doozy! With the continued battle against their father, there has been a growing intensity for the siblings as more secrets are unearthed and a final battle will take place. The characters have been through a lot, and this book puts them through one heck of a masterful conclusion. I really enjoyed this series, and I look forward to more by this author, and perhaps even from this world!
Loved it!
In the earlier books in the series, we watch a group of siblings fight their way through literal life and death situations all in the name of competing for their father's throne. They didn't even know they were part fae much less that they had siblings until their father drew them to the kingdom.
But now the remaining siblings have uncovered the truth about their father and they must work together to protect the fae in the kingdom as well as keeping a power-hungry fae king from crossing into our world and seizing power through violent, bloody means.
McLeo never fails to deliver incredible world-building, strong characters, and beautifully crafted plots. This book is exactly the excellent story-telling I've come to expect from this author.
