In Another World with My Smartphone: Volume 2

Still a better story.

While I must say that there are some issue I had with this volume with the few minor grammar issues and couple misplaced quotation marks ("<- these things ->"), the story still had a lot more explanation than the anime which I am grateful for.
One thing I loved that I didn't like so much in the anime was the moment Touya created a gun. In the anime, he then creates a pair for Yumina and Linze without mentioning gun safety in the slightest. Meanwhile we have here in then LN where Touya programs safety into the guns where they won't fire if used by someone other than the girl it was made for and would only reload bullets that the wielded had on their person. That was a major step from turning Touya into an annoying (and slightly dumb) boy into a young man who had a brain in his head. It even cleared up some misunderstandings about his ammunition which I personally loved.
Like I mentioned in my review of the previous volume, the LN still paints a clearer picture of the scene than the anime did if only slightly.
