Publisher Description
After 30 years of playing the field, Dr. Jake Reid meets the perfect woman in the cereal aisle of a grocery store at midnight. Emily Logan is stunning, thought provoking and utterly frustrating with her reserved demeanor and guarded heart. Regardless, Jake believes Emily is it even before their first date and works overtime to win her heart.
An arsenal of fancy restaurants like French Laundry, Le Bernardin, and Urasawa for his foodie girlfriend, along with trips to San Francisco and Hawaii aren't enough to withstand a misunderstanding between Emily, Jake and Max - Emily's ex-boyfriend. Emily quietly packs her bags for Japan, leaving no trace behind but a frantic Jake left to search for the woman he wants to make his wife.
Jake's Story tells the Indelible Love story from his perspective, from the night they meet to the day they live their happily ever after. Questions from Emily's Story unfold in rich and yummy details. What was Jake thinking leaving Emily stranded at the Grand Canyon? Why did he go so long without talking to the love of his life? What led him to believe that Emily chose Max over Jake? Read about the first three dates that never really happened and how Emily ended up in New York both times without Jake.
With more than a hundred pages of Emily and Jake's relationship never mentioned in Emily's Story, a complimentary and eventually a complete story is told. And in the end, the prince finds his princess and they live happily ever after, with an additional surprise... or two.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Loved both books, took me about a year to finish Jakes story because I didn't want it to end. It's such an amazing love story, I wish I could get my boyfriend to read this.
A romanticism of toxicity at its finest
I read this series in high school and loved it. I decided to revisit it on a road trip and honestly I’m truly appalled but Jake. The fact that he consistently tries to get Emily to sleep with him while knowing she’s wanting to keep a promise to her mother is disgusting. His emotional manipulation is not subtle at all and his 5 year old tantrums are just gross. He says many hurtful, nasty things that are just glossed over. Jake may love Emily but honestly it feels like he is more obsessed than in love.
Another book
I know it's been practically two years since you've written this, but I beg of you to write another book about Emily and Jake and about their life as a family and going until Jake and Emily pass. Then you can write love stories about their kids.
Sincerely,
One of your fans
