Intelligent Happiness is a dark, first-person poetic novella which places you in the shoes of a rigidly principled narrator. His principles smash into the world around him, especially the target of his affection, until he unwinds into an obsession which brings down the walls of reality. This work may serve as a case study on the hypocrisy of both the lover and the beloved.

The lover in this story is uncompromising, while the beloved is apathetic, spiraling into a chaos state of ideals versus flexibility.

The original work was written in 2010. Over the past 16 years, Feliciano has carefully and deliberately refined every element of the text, from the plot to the dialogue, so that everything sings to the same, disjointed rhythm.
