Between 2007 and 2015, the mini notebooks that I carried with me began to pile up. This collection amasses the best poems, micro-thoughts, and sketches from those days, the largest transformative period of my life. The works within reveal the fractured mind yearning for truth and understanding - a man struggling to get out of his own way until he saw the man he could become beyond the shadow.

Take the ride if you're prepared to dig beneath your mask to reveal what you're hiding from everyone, including yourself.

This collected, mixed-media work contains 47 poems, 4 prose selections, 34 micro-thoughts, and 9 drawings, all completed during the eight years in question. Reflective of the transitions I was experiencing in my life, the topics range from silent observations about the nature of things, meanderings about both ends of the romantic pendulum, and deep philosophical cuts, to absurdist free verse and intentional self-deprecation.
