Publisher Description
Internet e-mail scams, mostly originating in West Africa, have been one of the downsides of communicating in cyberspace, but, incredible though it may seem, people have actually responded to them. As an aside, an episode of a comedy series on Icelandic television featured a character who did just that: it was very funny, as long as there were subtitles on the screen.
Some of the funniest examples have been collected together here, proving that apparently unconnected people hundreds of miles apart can write almost identically worded pleading e-mails. There's a small charge for the book, simply because the compiler had to read all this stuff and that deserves a reward, doesn't it?
