The spark that brings two people together refuses to go out in this heartfelt story of love, growth, and creativity. In 2000, teenage AJ is feeling stifled by small-town Massachusetts life when she meets the magnetic Noah. They spend a magical summer together studying improv with Noah’s aunt (who starred in the cult sci-fi TV series AJ is obsessed with) while falling hopelessly in love. So the pain is excruciating when, out of nowhere, Noah vanishes from her life. The cosmic connection AJ and Noah experience on stage and off is ecstatic, but we love how their summer together also pushes AJ to pursue a future as an artist. And a lot of growth happens in the years she and Noah spend apart. When they finally reconnect—on Broadway, on the set of SNL, and even on a reboot of that TV series—we needed plenty of tissues on hand. This rich, complex love story breaks your heart in the best possible way.

Enthralling
What an incredible piece of work by Emma Brodie. I am still sobbing as I write this review. This book has everything you can imagine a book of greatness to have. You laugh, cry, your heart aches, you cheer for these two precious souls and pray they will survive their journey TOGETHER. I am just so obsessed with this book and the unbelievable character structure that was so relatable, lovable, and the relationship between them was truly remarkable. The epitome of soul mates, kindred spirits and pure as unconditional love can be.
