When Regulus mysteriously, impossibly went supernova wiping out all life on earth and reducing the human population to a mere fraction eking out a living in outposts scattered around the galaxy, the survivors chalked it up to extremely bad luck. But when the impossible happened 52 more times – the last of which tore through the fabric of reality itself and leaving behind a passage into another universe, it did not take long for humanity to realize something or someone on the other side was responsible.

The closest starship to the phenomenon, Captain Elza Cane changed course of the generation ship Endeavor to investigate, but when her impulsiveness got the better of her, she flew them in. No sooner did they arrive on the other side, then they were greeted by an Asarrian – an open-minded and welcoming species of anthropomorphic beings, ready and willing to show their new neighbors a pleasurable time.
