Best 2021 Summer reading yet
Had me hooked from the start. Book 5 doesn’t disappoint. I loved every minute of it! Great WWII historical story leaving me wishing Book 6 was already published! Well done!

Evelyn Ainsworth, a young high society woman, recruited by a family friend from MI6, has managed to evade the Nazi’s hunting her thru two country invasions. As the Panzers invade France, Evelyn is trying to get back to England. She is carrying some very damaging materials and with a successful secret mission of her own given to her by late father has uncovered materials that could end the Nazi’s quest of world dominance.
Unknown to Evelyn, there is a Nazi assassin following her awaiting orders to carry out his mission of killing her. Honestly, I could not put this book down. There was so much tension and action I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I won’t spoil it for you but know there was bullets and blood. I was disappointed at the end because it happened so abruptly: one minute I am flipping pages totally engrossed and then it was over. The war has definitely comes to France with the Nazi invasion. Will England be next? Evelyn will be right in the middle of it that is for sure. Another great read by CW Browning.
