TRYING MY BEST...
So far, I’m on page 85, and it has been a tedious journey. I have a thing where if I start a book, I have to finish it. Very rarely there is a book that is so bad that I have to put it down to save my sanity. This book is one of them. It’s not that the book is bad, it’s that it is incredibly dull. It’s supposed to a suspense book, but there is no sense of foreboding. I’m guessing there is attraction between Laura and...is his name Jack? But there is no chemistry. The author writes in detail about everything but the characters. I feel like I know more about the cat than I do about what this book is supposed to be about.
