Five stars is not enough!
Edge of my seat, thrilling page turner with a fantastic cliffhanger ending! I picked up Isolated by Melissa F Miller and began reading. Within the first few pages, I was hooked in to the story of Chelsea’s missing employee and client. Once she pulls Jake in to help her find them, and the storm set in, I could not turn the pages fast enough to find out what happened. As always, the characters and their relationships are so well developed that the reader feels like a participant in their story. As Vance is found, my heart settled in to comfort at a semi successful mission with a twinge of spidey senses tingling at a remaining loose end. I was in no way anticipating the ending and the cliffhanger in this book is one of legends. Now I can’t wait for “Imperiled” to release! Give yourself time to read this on in one sitting-you will not want to put it down
No end
I really dislike books that are actually just “teasers” - the story doesn’t end, as it is just a way to make you buy the next book to find out what happens. To me that’s dishonest and manipulative. Never again. Once an author does that, I’m finished with them.
Stopped story
This ticks me off. Stopping the story midstream. I will never buy another from an auther with so much disrespect for the reader!
