Fun reads
Interesting how we love the characters but no nothing of how they look?

Mr. Kearns is in a league with David Weber and others that I have enjoyed my entire reading life some 50+ years. His writing style is so enjoyable. His characters are rich, but he doesn’t delve so deeply into the maths and technology that you get the gist of it but you’re not overwhelmed. Such great reading I can’t wait to read the rest in this series and I’m looking forward to the next stories of Shepherd security services those were awesome!
Lemony Snickers series of fortunate events
That is what the title should be, IMO.
The richest man in the galaxy, happens to find a ship so tech advanced that nothing can touch it, while saving the galaxy, with zero real resistance.
It is a fun little romp, but there is very little depth of character, as everything seems so easy.
