In For A Penny
If you purchase the first story in this series, it won’t be enough. The world is gritty and jumps from the pages into your head; you will live with the characters, and feel with them.
I read the Dante Valentine series by flashlight in a tent surrounded by generators and uniforms - stolen moments during which I dropped completely into another world when I would have thought nothing could distract me. This digital version of the Kismet series I took with me to a hotter climate with the same generators - just as worthwhile a world to visit the tenth time reading.
Oh what can I say?
I was hooked, from beginning to end. I read this everywhere.
Home, work, bathtub, at red lights and traffic jams.
I caught myself laughing out loud and losing a few tears.
It's an intense adventure for those brave and gallant at heart.
I loved this book immensely.
