APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Michael Crichton’s brilliant 1990 techno-thriller—along with the summer blockbuster franchise it spawned—is why we’re still scared of velociraptors. Jurassic Park is a modern-day Frankenstein story filled with just-plausible-enough science and jumpy scares. Set on an island where dinosaurs have been brought to life, this tale of survival is both tense and thought-provoking. Don’t worry if you’ve already seen Steven Spielberg’s movie: Crichton’s novel differs from the movie in several interesting ways, but it’s every bit as entertaining.
Customer Reviews
Read this book!
Way better than the movie.
The adult version
The movie was meant for a general audience, it was amazing. The book is rated R, also amazing.
Where the movie glosses over some stuff and relies on visuals, the novel goes deep and really nails the immersion.
