Way better than the movie.
A Visceral Page Turner
What am I going to say about this book that hasn’t been said a hundred or more times already? It’s fantastic. If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll notice about as many similarities as differences. The dinosaurs are wonderfully written and their victims all suffer some visceral deaths, far strong than you see in the 1993 film. It was so well received by readers that it’s the only book Crichton ever created a sequel to continue it.

Classic. Thank you Michael for leaving us something that will be revisited for many more years to come. Just an absolute timeless piece.
