Kids to men...
I usually avoid books about “coming of age” or YA... But the premise for this book, where a misfit becomes the protector for a bully’s victim grabbed my interest. I found the characters endearing (maybe not Chuck), and I thought the family situations added to the whole struggle. The evolution of the storyline became almost hopeless, but the resolution was great. I even loved the very end that surprised me, but it just seemed to fit these two characters so well. Jay Bell has had my attention before, and this book was no exception.
Must read
If you aren't reading all of Jay Bell's books, you should be. This book is a great read with a few unexpected twists. Five stars for sure!
Kamikaze Boys
Jay Bell has done it again with this new love story. Very tender bits of romance with some very hot scenes dotted here and there. Never fails to satisfy...can't wait for the next one! Great read highly recommend for those who are suckers for a great romance :)
