It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to review a book… I’ve stopped doing reviews… the world has gone so soft that all it takes is for one person to be triggered by words not spoken in malice, anger or offence for someone to reach forward to cancel a person. It’s hilarious because I’ve always been mindful about my reviews because of this… only out of respect for those great authors I was reviewing for, because I wanted their story together out there… people need the escape. People need to be able to just unwind in a world that’s been written with love and great care to provide us with not only entertainment but sometimes solace… these authors are very proud of their work and they should be. I for one am thankful for it. Gorri has been the North Star to me for some time now. She’s not only a wonderful person, mother, wife and friend she’s a stupendous author. Her stories have allowed me to catch that breather I needed to recharge my batteries after cruel and harsh days. I’ve been waiting for Thors story for some time now. It was worth the wait. It was a beautiful story that did spark anger in me. I freely admit this. I felt Thors rage… if you’ve witnessed cruelty like Nica has then I’m sure you too felt the same. Gorri has a way with words. I’ve said this many times in the past. The way she creates, the way she world builds is truly remarkable. This story also made me smile and maybe once or twice smirk with evil intent as plots started to form in my head about a certain crow “king”… I enjoyed catching up with some of the MC’s hijinks and laughed at the silliness of it all. This was quite the read, yet I’m saddened because it was a long time coming. Thor needed his happy ending. Don’t we all? I really loved the Dire Wolves… it’s possibly one of my favorite Gorri series of books. Even though everything she touches turn to gold… I have to say her Tigers, Dire Wolves and a certain reclusive mountain lion shifter named Keeton (innocent look) have been my favorite… but as I sit here and recall her books they all stand out… that’s what’s good about her characters. They stand out. Family values, friendship, love, compassion and communication and the biggest of all commitment is all apart of her series of books. I think if you’re looking for a good book to read pick up any of her books. This wasn’t like a usual review for me. This one was special. Like Thors book. If you haven’t started the series then please do. You won’t regret it. It’s quite a ride. No pun…. Oh wait… 🤓

Sometimes you have absolutely no idea how a story is going to play out, you only know that you hope it’s going to be monumental. Then you start reading the book and you realize the author didn’t let you down. She gave one of your favorite characters an epic love story that filled you with awe and brought tears of joy to your eyes. This book is one of those books! I just finished reading it, but I already want to start at the beginning again. Thor’s lady love is as amazing as I hoped she would be, and I only wish I could be a fly on the wall as they live their lives. This book had highs and lows, but each path led to a point of absolute love and joy. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Wow, Gorri has outdone herself again with this great steamy read!! You will be hooked from the start with this one!!
