Beautiful & a little sad
I loved this book! I don't like Ruth so much towards the start of the book, she seems mean, but that really changes. lovely Miss Ainslie deserved so much better- she deserved a fairytale like the Japanese vase. I found the author's words on love & how meaningful life is so comforting. Read this book if you are looking for a lovely, clean story with a few tears that will make you more compassionate (& maybe make you smile!), but if you are already sad & worried & looking for a lighthearted book to cheer you up maybe go for a different one!
A most beloved book
This story of love is one that has a special place in my heart. Filled with the ways of long ago, bringing you on a journey woven with heart ache and joy. It is one of my most cherished possessions and I give this book to every woman I love so they too can remember that true love exists.
