Once he was broken beyond repair. Now this MMA contender is fighting to be a better man—for her. RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O'Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson "has the hottest brothers ever!" And in Let Me, it is Finn's turn to discover how love can heal the deepest wounds.
A mixed martial arts star on the rise, Finn O'Brien dismantles his opponents with brutal precision. And yet beneath his fierce persona, Finn is raw from a trauma he's buried for years . . . until the day his deep-rooted rage erupts and lands him in court-mandated therapy. Finn's not one to bare his soul, but if talking it out means meeting beautiful women like Sol Marieles, he'll give it a shot.
Sol is working toward her masters degree in psychology, and already she feels like she's in over her head. With an important internship on the line and a scary family situation demanding her attention, the last thing Sol needs is Finn around to distract her. The man is ripped and seriously sexy yet it's his troubled side that warns her to keep her distance. But their attraction is intense, and he clearly has the heat to see how far and fast their passion takes them.
Alone, Finn and Sol have been fighting to find happiness in their lives. Together, there's no stopping them as they face their greatest challenges—not in the ring, but in their hearts.

It was a beautiful story about second chances, love, redemption and letting go.
Cecy knows how to tackle difficult or uncomfortable subject matters and even though they can be hard to read, her characters always come out the other side stronger and better for having gone through them. I knew Finn's story was going to be a rough one and she didn't disappoint. I also knew it would be a beautiful one; one full of hope and promise and I was not disappointed.
Finn O'Brien is at the top of his MMA game, when his demons start to become more than he can take. He gets sent to therapy to deal with his issues. He runs into Sol while in therapy. Sol and Finn have known each other since they were little kids, but they don’t exactly know each other at all, in fact at times it felt like nobody really knew either of them.
Sol is struggling to cope with her mother’s mental illness and seems to be struggling the most with allowing others the opportunity to help. I got the fact that she wanted to be the one that could help her mum but shouldering all the responsibility herself was not the healthiest way to handle the situation.
A story full of ups, downs, good days and bad along with everything in between. It was a beautiful story about second chances, love, redemption and letting things you can't control go in order to move on. It is definitely a story you do not want to miss. Highly recommended if you like your bad boy fighter with a tender side and a whole brood of demons to slay.
Well written but hokey. I didn't finish it.
Fighting for Love!
I loved this book. It had all the right ingredients for me--from realistically flawed characters to a riveting plot-line that kept me glued and engaged in the story. Ms Robson has become my go to author when I need something really good to read. I can't wait for her next book, but in the interim I think I will reread this again!
