Rose Atwood has been in love with her best friend for years, and she’s tired of keeping her feelings under wraps for fear of getting hurt. Being Tyler’s best friend is becoming more difficult with every passing year and every new woman in his life—especially Georgiana Smithson, a snotty, beautiful girl who’s in Law School with them.

When Rose, dumped by her long-term boyfriend, moves temporarily into Tyler’s apartment, tension spikes. Georgiana wants Rose out of the house. Rose wants Georgiana out of Tyler’s life. And Tyler … well, he doesn’t really know what he wants.

As an unexpected argument brings Rose and Tyler closer than they’ve ever been, they must decide if there’s more to their relationship than being just friends. And they must do it quickly, as Georgiana is determined to do everything in her power to keep Tyler and Rose apart. After all, all is fair in love and war.

Will Rose make a leap of faith and trust Tyler with her heart?
Will Tyler make the right choice, or will he be too late?

Quick and Fun

This was a quick read that will draw you in. Let’s Just be Friends is the first part of a series and I will definitely be returning for more. I really enjoyed the multiple POVs. The fact that it was not just one male and one female POV was different and fun. Worth the time for a fun story you can finish in a few hours!

Not your typical romance book

Tyler and Rose are best friends and she has always wanted more but he sleeps his way through women and always ends up cheating so she is just waiting until he can commit to her. When Rose’s boyfriend breaks up with her, she moves in with Tyler but his girlfriend Georgiana is not happy about it because she suspects there was always attraction between the two and is threatened by their friendship. She also believes that Tyler has always had a thing for Rose and spoiler alert– he has!

When these two friends finally give in to each other, it's amazing but second thoughts and doubts start creeping in. He’s still with Georgiana and he has cheated again so Rose doesn't know if he has changed at all.

At Georgia's birthday party, she meets his brother Ethan and they kinda hit it off. From there the love triangle evolves into a love square and you get to see how these flawed people all learn to deal with real life and learn it's not always a HEA.

Four points of view was an interesting choice for this book! I didn't expect to hear from Georgiana and Ethan and while I thought it was weird at first I did like it. Georgiana’s view point softened her character even though she still had slimy ways to keep those two apart and get Tyler for herself. I didn't agree with her methods but it was an interesting POV you don't usually hear from.

The book moved very quickly. Not a lot of anticipation tingles and character and those coupled up jumped right into situations without much lead up.

It was a quick read but not my usual cuppa coffee. I hate to say that I did like the ending as weird as it sounds. I know it wasn't a typical ending for a romance book but I think everyone got what they deserved.
