Publisher Description

CAN LEARNING ARABIC BE EASY AND FUN?

YES. We think so. Innovative teaching methods based on the latest findings of neuroscience, together with digital technology can make language learning more intuitive, easy, and enjoyable.

This enhanced eBook will work well for English speaking students, aged eight and up. No prior knowledge of Arabic is required.

Students who finish this course will acquire the foundational skills necessary for fluent reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities.

They will lose their fear of learning a strange language and will tell their friends, “Arabic is simple and easy to learn!”

FIVE REASONS WHY YOU WILL LEARN FASTER

1. CUSTOMIZED, SELF-LEARNING.

Individual students decide what works best for them, and how deeply they want to pursue any given topic.

Content is scaffolded (layered like an onion). All learners, irrespective of age, or learning goals feel comfortable. For example, a nine-year old child can learn the basic letters and numbers without being intimidated by advanced topics. But mature students can pursue advanced topics, like grammar, without being irritated by kiddy stuff.

2. LEARN & PRACTICE EVERYWHERE, AT YOUR OWN PACE.

With fully portable interactive, multi-touch eBooks on the iPad, the classroom is always at the student’s fingertips. Students get the power to customize their study plan. Now, there is no need to study by the school’s calendar and clock.

Students intuitively take control of their own learning experience. No more forced learning by the calendar or the clock.

3. LISTENING TO SPOKEN ARABIC HAS BECOME EASY

Audio clips, spoken by native Arabic speakers, are fully integrated with the text. Students simply tap the audio icon to hear crystal clear spoken Arabic. There is no need to carry CD’s, earphones and CD players, or visit websites for listening and speaking practice.

4. LEARNING TO READ & WRITE HAS BECOME ENJOYABLE

Students will experience the most amazing Arabic textbook they have ever read. This enhanced eBook makes full use of the iPad’s capabilities.

Lessons combine engaging layouts and captivating images with interactive learning activities like, writing practice, word searches, coloring pages, jigsaw puzzles, and much more. Student engagement is guaranteed.

5. STUDENT’S CAN TRACK THEIR OWN PROGRESS

Numerous fully integrated, self-correcting quizzes provide immediate feedback. This enables students to reinforce and self evaluate learning progress.

Quiz questions have been carefully designed to probe all four aspects of language learning: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Yes, we are sure. With this eBook you will learn more Arabic. Learn it faster. And remember the material for longer, with less effort.

    Book Review

I rate this book a solid 4 stars because it is very interactive and allows the learner to gasp the basic concepts and even history behind the Arabic language. I throughly enjoyed the listening to how the letters are pronounced since they could begin to look very similar to one another. Also, the book being free is great for a student simply wanting some extra practice. The availability of the app would be the only issue, as it is only available for Apple and not for Samsung.
