Celtic Gods, where?
There’s a spirit in the main character’s dream. There are spirits in the castle in her dream. There is a carving of the Green Man, a familiar mythic figure who has been associated with many, many myths, some of them even suggesting he may have to do with a much-loved but poorly understood nature god. But I was expecting, you know, names of some actual gods. The Dagda, the father of the Tuatha Dé Danann, is a figure of mirth and could have shown up in here if the author had done two minutes of homework on Google. The title is not accurate, is what I’m saying. This little story is remarkably devoid of any Celtic gods. Also, there’s only one life lesson. It could more accurately be called “One Life Lesson From a Dream I Had."
