Publisher Description
One rule: Don't touch Trinity Lorenzo.
She's my captain's little sister. Off-limits. Forbidden. The one woman I can never have.
So naturally, we're the only two who survive when our private plane goes down in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness.
Perfect.
I'm Lincoln Rowe—team protector, the guy who handles problems on the ice. But out here? My fists and slapshot mean nothing against hypothermia and grizzlies.
And Trinity, with her sharp tongue and sharper walls, isn't making this any easier. She's running from something—someone—and trusts me about as far as she can throw my massive frame.
I promised Dalton I'd keep her safe. I always keep my promises.
But surviving means learning to work together. It means shared body heat on freezing nights. Stolen glances and reliance on each other. Her letting me see the vulnerable woman beneath that prickly exterior.
Every day we're out here, the line I swore I'd never cross gets blurrier.
She's thawing my frozen heart, and I'm falling for the one girl I can't have. When rescue finally comes, I'll have to choose: my best friend and my team, or the woman I'd burn it all down for.
Some rules were made to be broken.

Not your average hockey romance
LOST IN YOU is a book unlike any others that I have read from author Brenda Rothert. She's established herself as one of the queens of the hockey romance, and does that very well. And while, yes, Lincoln Rowe is the team captain for the Minnesota Mammoths hockey team, this story is not about that. Not at all.
LOST IN YOU is a story of discovery, for both Trinity and Lincoln. They have survived one heck of an ordeal, only to find themselves with no company but each other, and no idea of when that might change. I very much enjoyed their journey from 'couldn't be more different, and have no interest in changing that' to 'we've made the best of an unimaginable life event, and have come out all the stronger because of it.' Two people who, at first glance, have not one thing in common, but who grow to not only trust and depend upon each other, but to value each other as friends and more.
I thoroughly enjoyed following these two as they figured out what mattered most to themselves and to each other. And while there are some supporting characters, that I am guessing will be the stars in upcoming books, this one is really all about Linc and Trinity, and what it means to give over and truly learn to trust and lean on another person. (Seeing Kate Ryker was a much-loved surprise, as she was the first of Brenda's characters that I read, and she and Ryke are still two of my favorites ever.)
I really enjoyed LOST IN YOU, and am looking forward to seeing what else Brenda has for us in this world. This book is an easy recommendation for longtime fans and new readers alike. ❤️
