Twists and turns kept me on my toes
I read the first book and boy, was I anticipating the rest of the series with jittery anticipation! The book had me off kilt (in a deliciously and heart-wrenching good way!) as twists and turns of the plot came, wave after wave. I loved how Dani tied everything together to weave Leah and Heath’s love story into a thick fabric that kept me warm and cozy, rooting for the couple while they navigated and came to terms with their past and present, while accepting and embracing their future. Towards the end, I though it got repetitive with their lovey-dovey expressions of love, but I will not complain when there’s a HEA AND long bonus chapters of epilogue. :)
