Publisher Description

‘I don’t think I had ever been so cold in my life. This was the moment I’d dreaded. Broken down with a serious mechanical problem, miles from civilisation, an icy wind cutting through my stiffened belstaff like an ice pick and sleety rain that threatened to turn to snow at any moment. Welcome to Yugoslavia.’

In 19980 Ian Mutch set out for Israel on possibly the most inappropriate type of motorcycle imaginable. A 1976 Triumph Bonneville hard tail chop with Rabbit ear pull back handlebars. Utter impracticality was assisted by an engine that shook itself and its owner to pieces while leaking 20/50 at a rate that threatened to inflate the world crude oil price.
