I have all The Hell’s Eight In Print And Now on My IPhone . I cannot wait for the last one , I have pre-ordered and I am anxiously anticipating it’s arrival .
I wish it had just been Hell’s Seven...
I am so deeply disappointed. This book did not do justice to the other seven in the series; the rich character development I so loved from the other novels is nonexistent and it reads like an unedited first draft. The H/h motivations are murky; their inner monologues and dialogue between characters has no relationship to their actions or anything else that’s taking place; there are outright craters in the development of who each of them are; inconsistent details, not just from the other books in the series, but within the book itself. Case in point, in a fairly early chapter Josie bemoans not wearing her spectacles due to vanity, but this is the only reference in the novel that she wears glasses at all. And she’s a photographer, who needs to see to take pictures. And she’s supposedly all about blending in to the background and not wanting to be noticed, so...vanity? This was, by far, the most innocuous of the “pay no attention to detail” transgressions in this book. The story outline had such promise and it’s so too bad that the author didn’t deliver on what could be. The only reason I even finished it, and it got two stars instead of one, is because I loved all of the other books in the series; do yourself a favor and stop at book seven.

Not as good as the first 6 the last 2 were a really big disapointment . Due to having to wait A couple years !!!!
