Lumina 10
Australian Journal of Screen Arts and Business
Publisher Description
LUMINA is dedicated to encouraging challenging discourse on the issues most significant to the screen arts and broadcast sector. Reflecting the breadth of contemporary thinking this journal – produced by the Australian Film Television and Radio School – is committed to publishing serious discussion of subjects, interviews, essays and reflections from leading thinkers and practitioners.
In this special issue, dedicated to 40 years of the Australian Film Television and Radio School, we provide the results of a survey of AFTRS Alumni spanning 40 years conducted by IPSOS Social Research Institute.
The entire results of the survey are reproduced in this issue, along with analysis of the data and what it means. An appendix of Australian feature films made since 1972, highlighting the roles and credits of AFTRS alumni on each film, is included along with a complete list of awards and festivals wins by AFTRS student films over the past 40 years.
Together the survey and data provides a snapshot of a remarkable group of people: AFTRS alumni – talented, optimistic, tenacious and inventive.
