Publisher Description
Book Four in the Maggie Kelly Mystery Series by New York Times Bestselling Author Kasey Michaels (Previously titled High Heels and Homicide)
Publishers Weekly: “An audacious premise with deliciously funny results.”
Maggie Kelly, best selling author of the Alexandre St. Just Mystery Series, is on her way to jolly old England to watch the filming of one of her books for the small screen. Her entourage includes her editor, her agent, the viscount and his loyal sidekick, Sterling Balder. Months earlier both characters had popped out of her books and into her life, and yes, she still had trouble with that, even though her friends had accepted them as her English cousins whose names and physical descriptions she'd used when first creating the series.
Once at the lovely old manor house where the filming is to take place, the mayhem that seems to travel wherever St. Just saunters rears its ugly head. We have a manor cut off from the world by a flood, motives galore, and a cast of characters anyone would cheerfully choke. And, yes, soon there is also a dead body. But not to worry, as it's St. Just to the rescue ... again.

Who done it?
This is the 4 th book in the Maggie series . Maggie is a writer, she has created the perfect male hero character Saint just. Also in her imagination is Sterling , the happy wonderful side kick. She is a mystery writer. One day appearing in her living room are Saint just and Sterling!
I am an ARC reader and I was asked to review this book. I have read it after the election. Oh boy, it was just what I needed. It was if I was in the game of Clue. Of course Saint Just is well, just perfect.
Maggie is in love with him .its driving her crazy. She will not admit it for fear of him just proofing away. This story takes place in England. One of Maggie's stories has been made into a movie. So they travel with friends to dreary, rainy England. Well, there is a fabulous cast of characters ,a ghost, and a murder.
Grab a cup of earl grey tea sit by the fire and escape to a funny, touching wonderful story. I give it 5 stars.
