Excellent

Maia is a beautifully written book by one of the greatest writers of our age. It is a prequel of sorts to Shardik (An even better book) and it brings to life the pageantry of a decaying empire and highlights the struggle for freedom of its slaves and citizens.

Maia

This is seriously one of the greatest stories ever told. Fantastic writing style. You will be up way past your bedtime reading Maia by Richard Adams !
