Publisher Description

Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres shares her secrets for a happy, fulfilling life after divorce.

After her divorce from superstar singer Marc Anthony, Dayanara Torres learned firsthand how to handle the challenges of starting over and creating a healthy environment for her two sons and herself. The most important lesson she learned is that the commitment a woman makes to herself is just as important as the commitment she makes to her spouse on their wedding day. Dayanara vowed to honor and respect herself, and in Married to Me she helps other women do the same.

Dayanara walks women through the critical stages of redefining life after a marriage ends: accepting, rebuilding, and rediscovering happiness and the self. With compassion and encouragement, she offers honest advice, personal mantras, and insightful tips on family, lifestyle, beauty, and health—so that women can move beyond the pain, set a new family dynamic, discover new passions, and build new relationships. Like Dayanara, readers will discover a life after divorce that is beyond their wildest dreams.

Married to Me

Wow, this is a MUST read for all woman! Even if you haven't been through the trials and pain of a divorce; this book will give you hope, truth and most of all, a real sense of self-love-grace. This self-respect/love is greatly needed not only by those of us who have lived the horror of divorce, but by all suffering ladies whom endure all sorts of sufferings and abuse. Thank you Yari (if I may take the liberty) for writing this book and sharing your deepest truths/pain. You hit home and tears still fill my eyes as i read, and reread your healing words-lines...You truly have inspired me to continue on my journey to heal, and move forward in my life with honor, love and the hardest thing for me thus far, forgiveness (for me & him). Gracias. Eres un orgullo.

Thank you for writing this book. I purchased it because someone I know is going through a divorce and I wanted to try to understand and be there for her.

I love how you touched on so many different thing so that the person knows their emotions are part of the process.

Im also happy that you are in a better place and your living proof that the fog does go but you have to do the work.
