ONE GIRL IN ORBIT. ONE CHANCE TO STOP PLANETARY DESTRUCTION.
When Earth’s Chancellor Lucca Brezhnaya discovers betrayal within her ranks, she launches a final offensive to silence the Marsians—forever. Her plan is bold, lethal, and nearly unstoppable. But she’s not the only one with a strategy.
Jessamyn Jaarda never wanted to become a symbol of resistance. But after barely escaping the Chancellor, she finds herself orbiting Earth in a damaged ship with a half-conscious brother, a ticking clock, and one last chance to derail an interplanetary war. Stuck on a derelict space station with downed communications, Jessamyn must navigate a shifting battlefield and impossible choices.

Thank you for a great fourth book of this excellent series!,
Mars Burning is the fourth book of the excellent SAVING MARS series by Cidney Swanson that I've really been looking forward to read!
Jessamyn, our heroine from Mars, is on the run from Chancellor Lucca while at the same time trying to get her team to disable the Terran satellites around Mars before they can be used against the Marisians (and avoid political ramifications on Mars). She is a great pilot who does her best to help the people she cares about (her friends and all of Mars) and bounces between courage and self-doubt and heroism in a way that makes her a good roll model.
Chancellor Lucca is the main villain and she puts Cruella DeVille (from 101 Dalmations) to shame! I completely see Glenn Close playing this part when these get adapted to a movie or TV series! The Chancellor is also Pavel's (Jessamyn's boyfriend) aunt, but there's more to that story to come in the future.
If you haven't read the other three books, you really need to start there, it's pretty hard to catch up and let's face it, you're going to want to go back and read the first three anyways, so just start there!
Great books for teens and adults! It's kind of a coming of age / saving the world (Mars) / sci-fi series.
