Matthews v. State

Ecclesiastes Matthews ("Movant") appeals the overruling of his motion for post-conviction relief, filed under Rule 29.15,
without an evidentiary hearing. He asserts that, although he requested a Rule 32.03 change of venue at trial, his attorney
did not object when the trial court failed to change venue to another county as required by the rule. After an opinion by
the Court of Appeals, Eastern District, this Court granted transfer. Mo. Const . art. V, sec. 10.
