This is a fun and sweet read for the holiday season. There’s some mild angst and pining, but the witty banter and family holiday shenanigans keeps the mood light, making for a quick and easy read. We get second chances, forced proximities, and cut-throat Christmas traditions.
The MMC, Pierce, is all-in from the moment he sees the FMC, Brynn, again after six years apart. Six years after a life changing weekend together that ended in his slamming the door on any possible future together.
