MICHEL
Michel doesn’t trust Dr. Chelsea Young. Why should he? She willingly worked as a researcher for the humans who were using Pantera as lab animals. Unfortunately, his suspicions haven’t kept his cat from becoming obsessed with the need to possess the beautiful female.
Chelsea is determined to atone for her youthful mistakes. Even if that means working with the aggravating Michel who refuses to believe she now wants to help the Pantera. Together they must overcome their mutual animosity to track down her former boss, Stanton Locke, before he can commit the ultimate betrayal.
STRIKER
Dark, damaged and definitely gorgeous, Striker is all about the mission. And when the mission’s over? The Hunter is out of there. That is, until one of Locke’s lab rats is forced on him—a beautiful, pained female who needs sex to survive.
The lovely Twelve was abducted and taken to the labs several years ago. Used for breeding, she was given drugs that make her irresistible to males. It was a hellish, lonely life. But she’s free now, and determined to discover the truth about her past. If only the road to that truth didn’t involve the heartless male she can’t stop herself from wanting.

The Bayou Boys Are Back In Town
OMG!!! I have enjoyed all of the Bayou Heat books and up until now, I was trying to decide if I love Severin or Angel more, But then there was Hakan - choices choices choices. I practically jumped at the chance to get an ARC for my honest review of this book. I have been stretching this book out, just like rationing fine chocolate, to heighten the anticipation and make it last as long as possible. My only complaint with any of these stories is I WANT more! They are so short, I can consume them in one sitting, Back to my original thought, I was contemplating my favorite puma, and then I met Michel. He was wary and hard and soooo yummy. Better than him, was Chelsea. She was so easy to relate to. We have all done stupid things for what we thought were important reasons. Understanding and trying to make up for selfish choices is what it is to be an adult and she was so human. I loved their story and her journey to atone for her choices, but she owned those choices as her own and that's all you can really do.
If I thought I loved that story, I don't know how to describe Striker and Twelve. First, this story is a dramatic change from any story in the series. Told in the first person made is so much more personal. Laura Wright did an amazing job of moving back and forth between the two characters and their feelings, point of view and perspectives. She was able to seamlessly move back and forth and make these characters more compelling than any others in the series. Severin and Taylor touched me, but I felt what Striker and Twelve were going through. I don't want to spoil the story, but really I need shower and a change of clothes. I hope to get to read more stories like this in this series very soon!!! Oh and I could have used another 500 pages of them! Thank you!
I don't like to give 5 stars, because where do you go from there. This book EARNED those stars and I can't wait to get more!
Best Series Ever!
This book belongs to one of the best shifter series that's out right now. It is a cannot be missed series. If you haven't read any or just part of the series, by all means buy the book, but do yourself a huge favor and start from the beginning. You get two extremely talented authors who know their stuff. They draw you into the world of Panteras, keep you reading (cuz you can't put it down) until it's done and then will have you wanting for more. You'll be part of a large group who preorders the next book as soon as they announce it! This time it's Michel/Striker. In Michel you'll be saying- What? They killed who off?- and in Striker, Laura Wright gives you hints to where the series is going. While you're reading you meet two sexy, alpha men who rock their woman's world. Yes, there's some really hot sex in the stories but the story lines are not based on it, it's just a really nice extra! Each story is based on how a Pantera meets or finds their mate. At the same time the writers have you trying to speed read while you find out what's going on in the Pantera world. Your biggest problem will be deciding who's gonna be your next book boyfriend, Michel or Striker?
