APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
A genius private eye takes on a simple missing persons case that turns out to be anything but in this installment of James Patterson’s Jack Morgan mystery series. Morgan runs an elite global investigation agency, and though he’s moving away from hands-on work, he makes an exception when he’s approached by a distraught businessman whose adult daughter Beth and her two children have gone missing. Morgan and his team soon learn that Beth, a former military operative, is in bigger danger than they realized—and the case may have global political implications. Missing Persons is a fast-paced thrill ride that jumps from one crisis (and country) to another, with fascinating heroes, mysterious villains, and new dangers popping up like a string of firecrackers. It’s another winner from one of America’s most popular storytellers.
